When you think of the Kansas City Chiefs fantasy camp you think of having fun learning from and playing like the pros.

That is what happens every year and a fun time is had by all. While they are having fun and learning the people in attendance are doing something else, helping educate youth across the Metro about concussions.

While that is being done directly, the event raises money to help The University of Kansas Health System educate the community about concussions, how to treat them and how to return to action once completely healthy. It also funds school nurse symposiums on concussions to educate those people who also see young people when an injury takes place at school, that is not part of organized sports .

The event is a way the Chiefs have partnered with The University of Kansas Health System to keep everyone safe whether their concussions are sports related or not.
