With two first quarter touchdowns and two in the fourh quarter, the Archbishop O'Hara High School football team won their first post season game against Lincoln Prep 28-0 on November 2.
The Celtics scored on the first drive of the game on a rainy and windy evening.
During the drive Jake Fortin connected on two passes to Brandon Dennis for 20 yards and 17 yards, and the actual TD was scored on a quarterback keeper by Jake Fortin from the one yard line.
On Lincoln's first play from scrimmage, Jorge Belcher recovered a fumble and O'Hara was on its way to their second TD.
Ronnie Sailer took the ball in on a 30 yard run and Julian Gidley's extra point made the score 14-0.
Gidley would add two more extra points later in the contest.
Although neither team scored up to half time, the Celtics did advance the ball to the 18 yard line and to the 14 yard line, but in both occasions gave up the ball on downs.
As the rain continued throughout the third quarter, the two teams found themselves running the ball, fumbling, and punting with no points to show for it.
Near the end of the third quarter, deep in their own territory, Lincoln decided to attempt a pass, but Brandon Dennis alertly intercepted and returned the ball 18 yards for a touchdown.
Well into the fourth quarter, the Celtics cashed in on their final TD.
Gabe Spencer almost carried the ball into the endzone on a 22 yard run, and on the following play plunged over for the score.
