The 2024 Dave Bassore Assistant Coaches of the Year are Kyle Livingston from Basehor-Linwood and Mike Tarrants from Grain Valley. The awards are given annually to an outstanding assistant coach from each side of the state line. The Dave Bassore award is in honor of longtime coach Dave Bassore who was a well respected member of the Kansas City Coaching Community and was tracially killed in a car accident in 2006.
