PrepsKC McCarthy Elite Receivers

The wait is over the PrepsKC McCarthy Elite team is here. The best 28 players in the Metro on the most exclusive team in the history of the Metro.

   

The announcements began Thursday with the specialists and continues with a position group a day until the team is complete. Then the offensive and defensive players of the year will be announced followed by the MVP as the top player on the team.

The next position group revealed is the receivers. Just three were chosen and each is a dynamic playmaker that put fear into defensive coordinators across the Metro.

Below are interviews with the PrepsKC McCarthy Elite Team receivers along with more information about their season.

Isaiah Mozee – Sr., Lee’s Summit North
Closed out a stellar career with 53 receptions, 824 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns. Averaged 15.5 yards per catch and added eight more rushing touchdowns as he used all over the field by the Broncos during their 11-1 season.

Karsten Fiene – Jr., Lee’s Summit
Finished with 56 receptions for 980 yards and 15 touchdowns. Fiene averaged 17.5 yards per catch and added five rushing touchdowns on just 22 carries. Helped the Tigers to an 8-3 record which was their best finish in a decade.

Larry Porter – Sr., Raytown
In just 10 games finished with 1,410 yards and 18 touchdowns on 92 receptions. Led the Metro by almost 400 yards receiving and not only put up big numbers but did it week in week out for a Raytown team that went from 1-9 in 2023 to a 5-4 regular season in 2024.
