Tate Nagy, quarterback, Blue Valley West – The Senior had his best game of the season going 18 of 23 for 285 yards and four touchdowns in the Jaguars 42-35 over previously undefeated Blue Valley Northwest. Nagy led West to its fourth straight win after opening the season with a 25-21 loss to undefeated St. Thomas Aquinas.
Highlight of the night
Tonganoxie already led 7-0 and had the ball on the Bonner Springs 10-yard line. Quarterback Tolan Langford called his own number and looked to be stopped about 3 different times but when the play ended he was in the endzone and the Chieftains had scored again on their way to a 45-0 win. Tonganoxie Sports Live’s Dillon Funk was on the call.

Park Hill – The Trojans once again found themselves in a close game this time with Liberty. Park Hill ended on the good side with a 21-17 victory to move to 4-2 on the season. It was the fourth game decided by one score or less. Park Hill has won three of those tight games,
Big Winner (s)
Blue Springs – The Wildcats beat Rockhurst 30-13. It was the school’s first win over the Hawklets since 2019 and the first win over Rockhurst Jed Paulsen who took over before the 2022 season.
