Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
This week’s Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Joe Blake from West Platte. Blake is a utility clerk at the Platte City Price Chopper and plays football and track for the Bluejays. He said he likes working at Price Chopper because he meets new people, and the schedule is flexible.
Blake’s manager said of him:
“Joe has a very busy sports schedule. He is always here and ready to work with a smile on his face.”
