Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
This week’s second Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Mia Cole from Grain Valley. She works at the Consentino’s Price Chopper as a utility clerk and sacker. Cole plays soccer at Grain Valley.
“I enjoy working at Price Chopper because I love helping my community with the simple task of buying groceries,” Cole said. “The little jokes, smiles, and stories I hear/see each shift makes me really enjoy my job.”
The head of employee relations at Cole’s store said of her:
“Mia has been an outstanding employee with us. She is quite friendly and is always looking for ways to be helpful and productive. She is an effective communicator and seems to balance all of her responsibilities - including her job with us - very well.”
