Keelan Smith, receiver, Liberty North – The senior grabbed seven balls for 205 yards and two touchdowns as the Eagles handled Rockhurst 35-7.

Call of the night
Louisburg hosted Paola in a Frontier League battle. The Wildcats senior quarterback Declan Battle had quite the night on the ground and through the air. Early in the game he called his own number to score Louisburg’s second TD of the game as the Wildcats would go on to a 35-20 win.

Team of the night
Van Horn – The Falcons are off to a 3-0 start and their latest win came over Independence School District sister school William Chrisman 49-6. This is the second straight year Van Horn has beaten William Chrisman and makes the Falcons the top dogs in the school district.

Big Winner
Gardner-Edgerton – The Trailblazers traveled to Shawnee Mission South Thursday night and played like they wanted to get home and watch the Chiefs game which started 20 minutes after their own kickoff. Gardner-Edgerton scored 40+ points in the first half on its way to a running clock in the second half and a 58-0 victory.
