Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
The second Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Javon Smith of Liberty North. He plays on the football team and is a sacker at store 288. He said he enjoys working at the store because “everybody’s nice and it’s a great first job experience. Customers recognize me and say hi.”
Evans’ office manager Emily said:
“Javon is a strong worker with a positive attitude. He is always ready and willing to complete any task given to him."
