The DiPasquale Moore Law Firm announced today they have partnered with the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association to offer a free combine for rising senior football players in the Metro.
The free combine will take place at Basehor-Linwood High School on Saturday April 17th starting at 9 a.m. and finishing at noon. On-site registration will take place beginning at 8:15.
“Our mission is to promote the playing of football at the high school level,” GKCFCA President and Grain Valley High School Head Football Coach, David Allie said. “As coaches, we want to see our players maximize every opportunity that comes their way. And the inability to pay should not be a barrier to entry. We are excited to have a partner like DiPasquale Moore as our title sponsor. Without them, a free combine would not be possible.”
Firm founder Mike DiPasquale believes sports and specifically football give young people valuable life lessons.
“We’re excited to inspire growth and development in all young athletes,” DiPasquale said. “Playing football taught me about teamwork, perseverance, commitment, and sacrifice. Our firm believes this partnership with GKFCA will help lead students toward improvement and success.”
The event is open to players from GKCFCA member schools and the athletes must be registered by the coach from their school. The deadline for entry is Thursday, April 1, 2021 and the event will be capped at 400 with at least 3 spots reserved for each member school. A student athlete’s coach must sign him up.
The GKCFCA is also excited to have RACK Performance partnering on the execution of the combine event and Mammoth Turf as an associate sponsor.
Events that will be included are vertical and broad jump, 3 cones, 5-10-5, 40-yard dash, medicine ball throw and other drills along with height, weight, and wingspan measurement.
