As the new year begins the coaching change season begins as well. There are a few jobs that have opened up and a few that have been filled in the last few days.

One of the biggest moves of the offseason has taken place as Andy Sims is leaving Blue Valley North to take over Park Hill.

On the Kansas side there are two job openings. Blue Valley North and Gardner-Edgerton needs to replace Ryan Cornelson who left for Republic High School in the Springfield area. Lawrence filled its open position with former KU assistant coach Clint Bowen. after Steve Rampy left to take over at Staley on the Missouri side.

In Missouri Adrian, Lawson and Van Horn are looking for new coaches. Staley opened in December when Phil Lite announced his retirement and that was filled by Rampy. Lawson’s Todd Dunn also announced his retirement after the season and that job is currently open. Adrian promoted assistant Matt Davis to take over for Matt Cochran announced his retirement.
