Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
This week’s second Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Garrett Williams of Paola. Williams plays football at Paola and is also involved in youth sports camps, a youth sports referee, community garden volunteer, a homeless shelter volunteer and is a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Store owner Barry Queen said: “ Garrett is a great kid and quite an athlete.”
