Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
The first Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Garrett Williams of Paola. He works at the Paola Price Chopper and attends Paola High School where he plays football. Williams is also a youth sports camp volunteer, youth sports referee, Community Garden volunteer, homeless shelter volunteer and a member of the student council.
Paola store owner Barry Queen said of him: “Garrett is a great kid and quite an athlete.”
