The PrepsKC Decade

Just a little less than 10 years ago PrepsKC was just an idea. Now after a decade of unbelievable support from sponsors and fans PrepsKC is the leader in high school football coverage in the Kansas City Metro and surrounding area.

The story of PrepsKC began June 3, 2010 when PrepsKC.com went live. In the span of 10 years we’ve seen many changes as our audience has changed. We began with the website, a radio show and a weekly magazine. We added an app, video highlights and shows and in the last year became a totally mobile friendly website.

Over the next few months we will look back at the last 10 years with special features, podcasts and videos. We will take some polls to find out what you think and interview some fans along the way.

A few things to look for as we move forward this offseason:

• Throwback Thursday – Look for features, game stories and podcasts from the past every Thursday during the offseason.
• Where are they now – A couple of times a month we will catch up with some of the top players of the last decade
• PrepsKC All Decade Team – This will cap off the look back at the last decade as honor what we think are the best players of the last 10 years.

Hopefully you will enjoy the look back over the last decade or what we like to call the “PrepsKC Decade.”
