This year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
This week’s second Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Alex Quillen from Ottawa. He is a member of the Cyclone’s basketball team.
Quillen said he likes to help customers as they shop to make them feel happy if they have had a bad day.
His store manager said of Quillen: “Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back from God.”
