Quote of the night

Blue Springs South and Park Hill locked up in a defensive battle and scoring was scarce. South led 7-0 in the fourth quarter when Adam Cofield powered over to give the Jaguars what would end up being the winning score. South’s defense held in the final minutes to earn a 14-7 win.

Team of the night

Staley – The Falcons dominated Blue Springs 35-0 to open the season in impressive fashion. Staley earned their third win all-time against the Wildcats and are now one of the few teams in the Metro who can boast a winning record over Blue Springs at 3-1.
