The playoffs are right around the corner let’s take a look at the Re/max big 3 games for week 8. We start on the Kansas side where one of the hottest teams is Blue Valley. The Tigers have won five straight after dropping their season opener and put that winning streak on the line as they head to rival Blue Valley West. Blue Valley’s offense is rolling but it faces a Jaguars defense that held St. Thomas Aquinas to just 7 points in a win last week.
Our next RE/MAX Big 3 game Lawrence at Olathe North in a Sunflower League showdown. The Lions head to Olathe after a bounce-back win over Shawnee Mission South last week. That victory stopped a two-game skid and Lawrence will look to keep things moving in a positive direction this week. The Eagles have exploded for two straight wins after suffering their only loss of the year scoring 56 points in each of its two wins.
The final RE/MAX Big 3 game on the Kansas side is DeSoto hosting Leavenworth in a United Kansas Conference showdown. The Pioneers take a two-game winning streak on the road and are looking to secure their first winning regular season since 2014 and their second since 1990.
Let’s jump over to the Missouri side and head to Raymore-Peculiar where the defending Class 6 state champs host Liberty. The Jays arrive playing some of their best football of the season coming off a 35-32 win over Park Hill.
Our next Re/max Big 3 game is Park Hill South hosting Lee’s Summit. The Tigers have started to play well since ending a four-game losing streak with wins over North Kansas City and St. Joseph Central. Lee’s Summit takes on a Panthers squad that has been perfect and stands at 7-0.
