It’s been another fantastic season of high school football in the Metro.

In fact with Odessa’s win in the Missouri Class 3 state championship game Saturday it closed out the 10th season of PrepsKC. As we are finishing out our 10th year we will spend the offseason looking back on some of the highlights of our first 10 years.

We’ve come a long way in that time. We started with a website, a magazine and a radio show back in 2010. Some things have changed, and some haven’t. The magazine is gone but we now have an app. The website is also mobile friendly so you can access it on any device.

We still have the most up to date live scoreboard in the Metro covering more than 60 games every week. We’ve added live stats for almost half of those game and that number continues to grow.

There is even more game coverage than when we started. We now have coverage of more than 20 games every week. We have coverage on both sides of the state line with schools of all sizes.

There is more and more audio every year. Our podcasts have grown, and we routinely have 40-50 interviews every month to keep you informed with your favorite teams.

In the last few years we have added more and more video. Each week our reporters are giving you highlights from more than a dozen games bringing the action to you wherever you are.

In all we are very proud of what we’ve done at PrepsKC over the last 10 years. At the same time we are working hard to be better and bring you more.

PrepsKC is here for the fans of high school football. We want to keep you informed and entertained with this great sport. We have never put any of our coverage behind a pay wall and never will. Everything is free for you to consume. PrepsKC can do that because of our great sponsors who are committed to this community and high school football.

It’s been a great 10 years here’s to 10 more.
