Britz, Harrisonville dominate Arkansas team
By Stephanie Yeagle The Cass County Democrat-Missourian Harrisonville senior linebacker Thaddeus Messer wants his team to stay humble. But after tonight's 42-0 victory over Rogers (Ark.), the Wildcats should have some pride. "I thought we did well," Messer said about his defense. "We just keep getting better every week and it's good to have everyone on the field." Messer also had one sack and one fumble recovery in the game. "I was pretty excited," he said. "It felt good." Messer snatched up only one of three fumble recoveries for the Wildcats. Senior defensive lineman Travis Britz fell on the first loose ball at the 19-yard line on the Mounties' very first play in the first quarter. The recovery led to Britz's 12-yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Zach Davidson at the 9:56 minute mark. For the rest of the story click here. ![]()
