Pleasant Ridge tops Delaware Valley team
 By PrepsKC staff It was a rewarding and frustrating year for Pleasant Ridge in 2010. The Rams won the Delaware Valley South league with a perfect 7-0 record but suffered their only two losses of the seasons in districts and failed to make the Class 3A playoffs. Pleasant Ridge’s losses to eventual champion Silver Lake and were to two teams that would meet in the semifinals in 3A. In a league that saw half of the teams finish with winning records only Valley Falls would make the Class 2A playoffs where it lost in the first round to Olpe. Pleasant Ridge’s perfect 7-0 mark in the league would earn it nine first team players followed by Valley Falls, Oskaloosa and McLouth who each had four players on the first team.
