Reducing the risks of ACL injuries

The Sports Medicine and Performance Center at the University of Kansas Health System has a new program that will help athletes learn how to reduce risk of ACL injuries.

The six-week program offers assessments of mobility, movement proficiency, jumping and landing patterns along with individualized progressive strength training.

The program will run for six weeks with two 60 minute sessions per week. To hear more about the program listen to the podcast with University of Kansas Health System’s Physical Therapist Megan Bechtold.
