Certified Athletic Trainers from University of Kansas Health System are a big part of high school sports around the Metro.

Several school districts have these trainers in the high schools and even in the middle schools to bring the same care the pros receive at the Sports Medicine and Performance Center to athletes of all ages.

At this year’s BeYOUnion.com Kansas vs. Missouri All-Star Game the training staff is again being provided by the Sports Medicine and Performance Center.

Whittney Findley is the athletic trainer for Shawnee Mission South and we caught up with her during a recent Kansas team practice.
