This is the 27th year the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association has held its All-Star Football game highlighting some of the best players from last year’s football season.

The event is a great representation of high school football from around the Metro. The event became even more meaningful in 2015 when the GKCFCA began its Hall of Fame. Starting that year the association began honoring coaches, players and associates who have made an impact on the game in Kansas City and the surrounding areas.

This year’s group will again be honored at halftime of the Kansas vs. Missouri All-Star Game and will be enshrined along with the first three classes.

This year’s class is listed below. Look for bios of each honoree after the All-Star Game.

Laurel Hobick – Truman, Cass-Midway and Piper
Gary Oneal – Hardin Central
Kyle Roach – Pleasant Hill
Keith Ross – Oak Park
Troy Hodges – Harmon
Glenn Percy – Shawnee Mission East

The Simone Family

Don Davis – Olathe South, Kansas, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams
