The football season is right around the corner and there is still some coaching movement still to come. It’s been a busy year with 10 coaching changes on the Kansas side and 11 on the Missouri side.

Most of the spots have been filled but there are a few still open. The most recent changes have come at Lansing and Winnetonka. John McCall has moved on to William Chrisman on the Missouri side to become the defensive coordinator for Head Coach Matt Perry. McCall was replaced by offensive coordinator Dylan Brown who takes over the Lions.

At Winnetonka Jared Barge moved up to the Athletic Director spot and Raytown assistant Benny Palmer was hired to lead the Griffins.

Another late opening is at St. Joseph Lafayette where Bart Hardy has moved into administration. That job is currently open and it means all three St. Joseph District schools will have new coaches next season.

The other current openings are at Schlagle, Rich Hill and Southeast.
