SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The recipe for success is pretty simple when it comes to Hamilton's offense -- find LaTroy Harper.

The dynamic wide receiver hauled in a pair of scores and set up two others to help the Hornets roll to a 47-14 win against Monroe City in the Class 1 championship game at Plaster Stadium.

Harper, who put himself on SportsCenter with highlight catches in last year's title game, finished with 122 yards receiving and 227 all-purpose yards. Quarterback Jaran Richman tossed five touchdowns, the most in the Show-Me Bowl since 2011. The senior finished with 213 yards with two touchdowns each to Harper and Derek Dixon and one to Cale Witt.

"I throw him the ball every chance I get," said Richman, who had five of his 10 completions go to Harper.

Said Hamilton coach Caleb Obert, "Offensively, we had a good game plan. Give it to LaTroy early and often"

The Hornets (15-0) ran for 264 yards, 145 coming from Brock Swindler. T.C. East had 84 yards -- 43 on one carry -- while rushing for Hamilton's lone rushing score in the second quarter.

By then, the Hornets had built a 31-14 lead, on the way to a 39-14 halftime advantage.

Richman got Hamilton on the board with a 40-yard score on its second possession. A 75-yard kickoff return to the Hamilton 4 by Logan Minter had Monroe City (11-4) set up Michael Speaks 3-yard touchdown catch. Cole Pennewell ran in the conversion to give the Panthers its lone lead of the game at 8-7.

Harper accounted for the next two scores, on 30- and 13-yard receptions.
