Big postseason performances are honored

Starting with the first week of the season on both sides of the state line PrepsKC will announce a Papa John’s Player of the Week. Each week those players will be highlighted on PrepsKC.com and in their local Papa John’s location.

A player of the week will be awarded all season long. At the end of the season a Papa John’s Player of the Year will be selected from the weekly winners. Each winner’s program will receive a $250 donation from Papa John’s and a pizza party for the entire team.

Below are this week’s Papa John’s Players of the Week

Kansas
Anthony Bragulla, Blue Valley North, running back

Bragulla rushed 44 times for 203 yards and 2 TD’s in North's 20-9 win over Shawnee Mission West in what was his first ever varsity start.

 

Missouri
Jess Davis, Kearney, receiver

Davis caught 12 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns in the Bulldogs 58-41 win over Platte County.
