Pushing the scoreboard to the limit
By PrepsKC staff The game between Spring Hill and Osawatomie wasn't much of a game on paper. The teams had one win each and were already eliminated from playoff contention when they took the field at Osawatomie Thursday night. With nothing to play for but pride the Trojans and Broncos put on a scoring exhibition for the ages. After the first quarter it was 32-30 Spring Hill. The scoring slowed down a bit in the second as they went to the half with the Broncos holding a slim 46-44 lead. The second half both teams picked up the scoring and the scoreboard got red hot. When it was all said and done Spring Hill had squeezed out a 99-72 win to close out its season at 2-7. It was a good thing thing the Broncos didn't score anymore points because the scoreboard had reached its limits. ![]()
