The Missouri State High School Activities Association is changing how it holds its annual Show-Me Bowl.

This fall the games for classes 1-6 were scheduled to be played on the campus of Missouri State University in Springfield. The 8-man championship was recently awarded to the University of Missouri in Columbia and now Class 6 will also be held there.

The date is also changing from the traditional Thanksgiving weekend to the week before eliminating the bye week between the semifinals and championship game. This has been the format for the last four seasons since Classes 1-5 eliminated the Wednesday-Monday format for the first two rounds of playoff games.

This season the Class 6 game will be played at the University of Missouri on Nov. 18 and then will move back to Springfield the following season.
