If you can tell a difference in the Lee’s Summit football team this year, you’re not the only one.

The players and coaches have definitely seen it – that never-say-die attitude. And it showed once again Friday night at home against Liberty in a 42-40 come-from-behind win.

“We keep fighting. All four quarters we just go,” Tigers lineman Tyler Wigger said.

“We have more belief than ever. It’s just believing,” junior King Frazier said. “We trust each other to make plays.”

And on Friday night, it was Frazier and Wigger making two of the biggest plays of the game.

For Frazier, it was an initial mistake that he had to recover from, as a fumble in the third quarter with the Tigers in Liberty territory gave the ball back to the Blue Jays.
