Harmon doubles up Washington

It was homecoming for the Harmon Hawks as they hosted the Washington Wildcats. The Hawks made their fans happy as they beat the Wildcats 32-16.
In a first half that was loaded with penalties and turnovers, the Wildcats scored first as Damon Jackson took a direct snap and scored from 1 yard out. The 2 point pass was incomplete.
The Hawks answered Darelle Alexander took a pitch and went 40 yards for a touchdown. After the Wildcats committed a penalty on the 2 point pass that was incomplete, Alexander converted the 2 point run.
The Wildcats tied the score at 8, when defensive lineman Darion Stafford broke through the line and caused a fumble to go out of the end zone for a safety.
The Hawks took the lead back when Alexander scored again on a 14 yard run. The 2 point pass was good as quarterback Chris Young hooked up with Austin Tudor.
The Wildcats needed just one play to draw even again. Alex Howard hit Jackson in stride as the receiver went 85 yards for the score. This time the Wildcats converted the 2 point pass as Howard took the snap, scrambled and found Keyshawn King to tie the squads at 16.
The Hawks scored again with just 28 seconds left in the when Young found Braylen Johnson in the corner of the end zone. Alexander took the pitch and went wide to score the 2 point run. This score gave the Hawks a 24-16 lead as the teams went to halftime.
The final score of the game was a nifty 5 yard run up the middle by Tudor. Young rolled out and connected with Tudor again on the 2 point pass to make the final score 32 - 16.
The Washington Wildcats record dropped to 1-3, and they will be on the road next week as they travel to Sumner.
The win moved the Hawks record to 2-3, and they will also be on the road as will meet Schlagle.
