Starting with the first week of the season on both sides of the state line PrepsKC will announce a Papa John’s Player of the Week. Each week those players will be highlighted on and in their local Papa John’s location.

A player of the week will be awarded for all nine weeks of the regular season. At the end of the Kansas regular season a Papa John’s Player of the Year will be selected from the weekly winners. The year-end winners’ program will receive a $250 donation from Papa John’s and a pizza party for the entire team.

Below is this week’s Papa John’s Players of the Week

Dylan Streeter, running back St. James Academy
Streeter had a big night rushing for 128 yards and scoring three TDs in the Thunder's 26-10 win over DeSoto. Streeter also kicked a 30-yard field goal and personally accounted for 21 of the 26 St. James points.

Briley Moore-McKinney, defensive back Blue Springs South
The senior linebacker picked off a Rockhurst pass in the fourth quarter that helped seal the Jaguars first-ever regular season win at Rockhurst. The win moved the Jaguars to 5-0 on the season.
