Break out performers earn Players of the Week

Starting with the first week of the season on both sides of the state line PrepsKC will announce a Papa John’s Player of the Week. Each week those players will be highlighted on and in their local Papa John’s location.

A player of the week will be awarded for all nine weeks of the regular season. At the end of the Kansas regular season a Papa John’s Player of the Year will be selected from the weekly winners. Each Year-End winner’s program will receive a $250 donation from Papa John’s and a pizza party for the entire team.

Below is this week’s Papa John’s Players of the Week

Kobe Hardin, running back Odessa
Hardin led the Bulldogs to another win with another big game on the ground. The senior tailback had 204 yards and two TDs on 18 carries to help lead Odessa to a 40-0 win over Holden. That win moved the Bulldogs to 4-0 on the season.

Luke Krull, wide receiver, Mill Valley
The senior caught nine passes good for 135 yards and three touchdowns. His performance heled his team beat Blue Valley Northwest 40-6, and improve to 2-0 on the year.
