Thunderstorms put a stop to jamborees
By Dion Clisso PrepsKC Managing Editor Rain and Thunderstorms throughout the metro either postponed or canceled most of the jamboree action on the Missouri side Friday night. Park Hill canceled their jamboree with Fort Osage, Blue Springs South and Truman before any of the action got underway. William Chrisman began their jamboree but was forced to cancel after seven plays. Lee's Summit North, Oak Grove and Boonville all made the trip to Independence but were sent home early because of the storms. Two other jamborees at Blue Springs and Grain Valley were rescheduled for Saturday morning. Blue Springs was hosting Lee's Summit West, Raytown South and Grandview. The Eagles were hosting Van Horn, Center and Maryville. Check back with PrepsKC for futher coverage of the jamborees. ![]()
