Missouri Rankings week No. 3

The third rankings of the season saw a lot of movement and one No. 1 team lose its ranking.
 
This week Raymore-Peculiar entered the top 10 in Class 6 at No. 10 after coming back to beat Liberty 38-34 to move to 2-0. Also in Class 6 Rockhurst fell from No. 3 to No. 5 after its lost to Bentonville, Ark.
 
Kearney makes its first-ever appearance in the Class 5 top 10 coming in at No. 9. Lee’s Summit West (2), Fort Osage (3) and Staley (5) all maintained their position from last week.
 
Class 4 saw Harrisonville drop from No. 2 to No. 6 and Savannah enter the rankings at No. 5. Liberty North also moved up one spot from No. 4 to No. 3.
 
Clinton and Oak Grove were the big local movers in Class 3. Oak Grove moved up a spot to No. 4 while Clinton enters the rankings for the first time this season at No. 7.
 
In Class 2 there is a new No. 1 as Lamar fell to Seneca. Maplewood-Richmond Heights is the new No. 1 with Lafayette County (3) as the highest ranked Metro team.
 
Another big move came in Class 1 where West Platte enters the rankings for the first time at No. 7 one spot ahead of Wellington-Napoleon who West Platte defeated last week.
