For high school football fans around the Metro RE/MAX has become synonymous with the biggest games on both sides of the state line with the RE/MAX Big 3 Games of the Week.
RE/MAX is not only a company committed to high school football it is also a company that serves its customers and communities in many ways every day of the year.
The Kansas City Metro is one area of a seven-state region that the RE/MAX Mid-States & Dixie Region oversees and encourages community involvement in each of its individually-owned offices.
The RE/MAX model provides the best tools and resources for experienced sales people so that they can provide the best customer service to their home buyers and sellers. This has made RE/MAX a market leader and allows each RE/MAX office to serve its local community in many ways.
“One thing we do as a region is look at each office and encourage them to get involved in their community,” says Chris Brock, RE/MAX Mid States & Dixie Region Senior Business Development Consultant. “RE/MAX is a long-time partner with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Komen Race for the Cure.”
On a national level, RE/MAX is partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals that helps local children’s hospitals all across the country. RE/MAX nationally provides offices several ways to help this cause knowing that the monies raised help their local children’s hospital.
“There are turn-key programs where sales associates can donate 25 dollars from each transaction to help local children,” says Brock. “Many RE/MAX agents participate in the Miracle Home Program and make donations in the name of a buyer or seller.”
One local fundraiser benefitting Children’s Miracle Network is RE/MAX Kickin’ for Kids – a combination of a three-on-three soccer tournament, as well as a benefit dinner and auction.
“Last year we raised $30,000 for the KU Medical Center with the overwhelming response to Kickin’ for Kids,” says Brock. “There are several meaningful events held throughout the year, as well as many individual agents making contributions. RE/MAX is a family that quickly opens its heart and pocketbook when friends, families or neighbors are in need, particularly when it is a child in need of care that the family cannot afford.”
Another great cause that RE/MAX supports is the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The annual event has become one of the top cancer fundraisers in the country over the last decade and RE/MAX is a national sponsor.
“The local offices form teams and run in the race sporting their red, white and blue RE/MAX colors,” says Brock. “Others will man a booth at the Union Station race site and give away water to race participants.
“There many programs we have participated in over the years that have made a major impact on the children in Kansas City or the health programs in the area,” adds Brock.
The commitment to the community is as strong as it is with customers. RE/MAX just launched a new mobile app that will allow customers to access remax.com and view homes anytime, anywhere.
The home buying or selling experience that a RE/MAX agent provides to a customer is in part due to the resources, education and systems that are exclusively available to a RE/MAX sales associate. One such tool, RE/MAX Mainstreet, is a membership-based intranet that features online training, marketing tools, and a referral roster, as well as other resources.
“If an agent needs to enhance their expertise or sharpen the skills that they already have, RE/MAX Mainstreet is their one-stop resource to accomplish that goal,” says Brock. “The difference between RE/MAX and other real estate companies is that it is an agent-centric organization that believes in helping sales associates gain more education and experience to better serve their customers.”
