Again this year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize one each week during the regular season.
The Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week is Sam Laffer from Blue Springs South. He plays football and runs track for the Jaguars. Laffer also mows lawns in the summer.
Laffer is a sacker and cashier at the South Blue Springs Price Chopper.
His manager had this to say about Laffer:
“Sam is an awesome young man. He has a great attitude and is always willing to do whatever is needed.”
