This year PrepsKC is partnering with Price Chopper to highlight some of the outstanding students who are working at your local Price Chopper.
These students are balancing school, work and extracurricular activities every day. PrepsKC and Price Chopper will recognize two each week during the regular season.
This week’s second Price Chopper Student Athlete of the week Jackson Hurley of Raymore-Peculiar. Hurley is a member of the marching band at Ray-Pec and is a sacker at the Price Chopper in Raymore.
Hurley said he likes his job because he enjoys meeting new people and helping them have a great shopping experience. He and his family also help clean up the roads on the highway by their home.
Hurley’s store manager said: “Jackson always helps any department and is willing to learn more than what his job entails! Definitely a leader in all aspects of this job.”
